The P1 trade: stability at one end, spin and reach at the other
This family lines up unusually cleanly. As you go Standard → Hybrid → Elongated, twist weight falls from 7.4 to ~6.9 to 6.25, swing weight climbs from 111–115 to 116–119 to 120–124, and measured spin rises from ~2,200 to ~2,350 to ~2,358 RPM.
So the elongated genuinely spins more — about 150 RPM more than the standard, which is a real gap rather than noise. It also swings roughly ten points heavier and twists more than a full point more easily. You are buying spin and reach with hand speed and margin.
The 7.4 twist weight on the Standard deserves calling out on its own. That is among the highest we have recorded on any paddle, and it is why the Standard scores 8.8 forgiveness while the Elongated manages 8.0.
P1 Standard — the best of the three
The Standard is the classic widebody footprint and the best-rated P1 at 8.6. Highest control (8.5), highest forgiveness (8.8), highest maneuverability (8.7), lightest swing. If you want a P1, this is the one to order.

P1 Hybrid — spin without the elongated penalty
The Hybrid is the compromise that mostly works: ~2,350 RPM and a 9.1 spin score, close to the elongated, but with a ~6.9 twist weight and 8.5 forgiveness that stay much closer to the Standard.
It swings 116–119, so it is not a fast paddle, but it is the shape to take if you want the grit story without giving up as much stability as the elongated asks for.
