What makes a paddle a "pro" paddle?
Searching for the best professional pickleball paddle usually turns up whatever the top-ranked player is paid to play. That's worth knowing, but it isn't the same as the best paddle for you. Pros get custom weighting, free replacements every few weeks, and contracts that decide the brand before the paddle does.
The useful signal is the shape of what they pick: most of this roster is on 16mm thermoformed or foam-core builds, and the elongated-versus-widebody split tracks whether a player leads with reach or hand speed. Those are choices you can copy at any price. Our best paddles guide ranks on tested performance rather than sponsorship, and the paddle finder matches a shape to your game.
How this list is built
Confirmed models only
Sponsor announcements tell you the brand, not the paddle. Where we can't confirm the exact model a player is using, we leave them off this list rather than guess from their sponsor.
Every row is dated
Pros switch paddles mid-season and sponsor pages go stale. Each profile shows the date we last confirmed that pairing, so you can judge how fresh it is instead of trusting an "updated weekly" badge.
Reviews where we have them
When a pro's paddle is one we've tested, the profile links straight to our review with scores and current pricing. When it isn't, we say so.
