On paper the Diesel pairs an EPP foam core with SICmatrix, the silicon carbide grit RPM uses on the Jade. EPP is a firmer, livelier foam than the MPP in the Jade, so expect the Diesel to lean toward power. The face prints DIESEL, ELONGATED and 16MM.
RPM has not published weight, swing weight or twist weight yet. We will add them, and our full review, when the paddle is out.
Approval and warranty
SICmatrix is RPM's durable grit, built to hold its bite longer than peel-ply carbon. USA Pickleball approval and PBCoR .43 are on the face. UPA-A approval is not listed.
