The RPM Diesel 14mm is the thinner version of RPM's wide, square Diesel (16" by 8.25", 5" handle) with an EPP foam core and SICmatrix grit.
Weight and swing should land close to the 16mm, which measures 8.7 oz with a swing weight about 121.7. The 14mm core should play crisper with more pop. RPM has not published a price yet. Code PRH takes 15% off at rpmpb.com/PRH.

What this page is
Same footprint as the 16mm, so the same big, stable face and the same short 5" handle. The thinner 14mm core usually trades some dwell and softness for more pop and a quicker response off the face, the same pattern we see between the Jade 14mm and 16mm.
Expect weight and swing weight close to the 16mm, so this is still a heavy paddle to swing. We will add our measured numbers when our review is done.
Approval and warranty
SICmatrix silicon carbide grit, rougher than most faces we track. USA Pickleball approved, PBCoR .43 on the face. UPA-A is not listed.
Who should order it
Pick the 14mm if you like the Diesel's stability but want more pop on drives and counters. Pick the 16mm if you want more dwell and a softer reset.
Skip both if you want a fast swing at the kitchen.
