What this page is
Volair sells the elongated as the reach shape, with a softer connected response from the Channel Core. They list a full floating EPP core, an engineered flex zone, and an EVA perimeter. Swing weight is 114. Twist weight is 6. Balance point is 240 mm. Those are Volair's numbers.
The handle is 5.6 inches. The face in our photo prints cmd el and has a purple edge. This is not the CMD Hybrid, and it is not the widebody.
Approval and warranty
The face is T700 carbon with HexGrit. Volair says HexGrit holds its texture longer than a peel-ply face. We do not have a spin number or a spin-durability tier for this elongated. UPA-A approved. USAP is not listed. Preorder is open.
Who should order it
Preorder the elongated if you want the longer CMD and a 5.6 inch handle, and UPA-A is enough. Skip it if you need USA Pickleball approval, or if you want the shape we have already scored. That is the CMD Hybrid.
The widebody is the same $161.99, with swing weight 104 and twist weight 7.1. Buy that one if off-center hits are the reason you are here.
