The Bread & Butter Loco 2 comes in two shapes, Hybrid and Elongated, both 16mm with the dual-density EPP and EVA foam core of the original Loco and a new Space Dust durable grit face. What is new in the Loco 2
- Space Dust durable grit. The biggest upgrade: a face texture built to keep its spin for a season, replacing the standard raw carbon texture of the original.
- Same award-winning core. 16mm dual-density foam, EPP in the center and EVA around it, with a fiberglass layer for pop under a T700 raw carbon face.
- Two shapes. A 16.2" x 7.6" Hybrid and a 16.5" x 7.375" Elongated.
- Lighter Hybrid. The Loco 2 Hybrid lists a 111 swing weight, down from 114 on the original Loco.
- Dual certified. USAP and UPA-A approved, so it is legal in both tournament systems.
- UV printed graphics directly on the surface, and an octagon handle with a vibration-dampening wrap.

Hybrid or Elongated?
Most players should buy the Loco 2 Hybrid. It swings seven points lighter (111 against 118), has the higher twist weight (6.7 against 6.3) and is the easier paddle to play well in fast doubles exchanges.
