Engage Pursuit Pro2 vs X2: Which to Buy (2026)
Last updated: October 2026
Pro2 is the $117 order. X2 is the Engage we have actually tested.
Buy the Pursuit Pro2 if $116.99 with code PRH is the budget and you are fine ordering before our test.
Buy the X2 Elongated if you want the Engage paddle we have played, at about $234 with the same PRH code. Both shop through engagepickleball.com/PRH. We are not calling the Pro2 better, worse, or the same until we hit it.
How we tested
Every paddle we cover goes through the same on-court protocol - individual play, head-to-head comparisons, and tournament use before anything gets written down. Every paddle below has a full review on the site; click through to see scores, specs, and the deal we found for each.

Do not treat these as the same paddle
The Pursuit Pro2 is a new 16mm raw-carbon paddle with a polymer core and a foam perimeter. Engage's line is that it brings Pursuit into Gen3 and feels closer to Gen1 than most Gen3 paddles. We have not confirmed that.
The X2 Elongated is the Engage we have tested: quad-density foam, about $234 with PRH. That review stands. This comparison does not move it.
