Enhance Turbo Elongated vs Hybrid vs Widebody

Last updated: June 30, 2026

The shape decision matters as much as MPP vs EPP.

QUICK ANSWER

Pick Enhance Turbo Elongated if you want reach and drive leverage. Pick Hybrid if you want the middle ground, especially with the EPP Hybrid LH long handle. Pick Widebody if you play mostly doubles and want the biggest sweet spot, fastest hands, and easiest blocks. For most players, the widebody is the safest Turbo shape.

The shape answer

Elongated gives you reach. Hybrid gives you balance. Widebody gives you forgiveness. That is the whole Enhance Turbo shape decision, and it matters just as much as choosing MPP or EPP. Use code PRH through our Enhance /PRH link when you are ready to buy.

Elongated

The elongated Turbos are the best if you want 16.5 inches of reach, more leverage on serves, and a 5.7-inch handle for two-handed backhands. They also carry the highest swing weights, so they are not the easiest shapes in fast kitchen exchanges.

Hybrid

The MPP Hybrid is the balanced all-court MPP shape. The EPP Hybrid LH is more specific: it gives you a 5.9-inch handle, which makes it the better Turbo option for two-handed backhand players who do not want elongated swing weight.

Widebody

The widebodies are the safest doubles picks. Both MPP and EPP Widebody sit at 16 inches by 8 inches with lower swing weight and higher twist weight than the elongated versions. That shows up immediately on blocks, counters, and resets.

Our recommendation

  • Most doubles players: EPP Turbo Widebody or MPP Turbo Widebody.
  • Most attackers: MPP Turbo Elongated or MPP Turbo Widebody.
  • Most two-handers: EPP Turbo Hybrid LH.
  • Most first-time Enhance buyers: EPP Turbo Widebody.
