Enhance MPP Turbo Widebody Review (2026)

Last updated: June 2026

Tested June 2026 Best for Doubles players who want a fast, stable MPP paddle with real pop
QUICK ANSWER

The Enhance MPP Turbo Widebody is the most forgiving MPP Turbo shape. Official specs list a 16-inch by 8-inch face, 108–112 swing weight, and 7.2+ twist weight. It gives up reach versus the elongated but is much easier in doubles, especially when hands battles get fast.

The Verdict

MPP pop with widebody forgiveness.

This was the MPP shape that made the most sense at the kitchen — quick to block, quick to counter, and still plenty spicy when we sped the ball up. After thorough on-court evaluation, the Enhance MPP Turbo Widebody is a strong fit for doubles players who want a fast, stable mpp paddle with real pop — see category scores below for power, control, spin, and feel.

If you're comparing it against other foam-core paddles, it's one of several great foam core paddles we've played this year.

On-Court Feel

The Widebody takes the MPP personality and makes it friendlier. The ball still jumps, but the wider face keeps blocks and counters from feeling as risky. In hands battles, the lower swing weight is obvious — you get the face there faster and the sweet spot is more generous when contact drifts. You lose some leverage on serves and two-handed backhands, but for normal doubles points this shape feels like the best MPP blend.

Performance & Testing

The Enhance MPP Turbo Widebody went through our standard on-court protocol - drills, rec play, and at least one tournament match. Scores reflect consensus feedback, not a single reviewer's opinion.

Grit & Durability

Same raw T700/CFC face and MPP/EVA floating core as the rest of the MPP line. The value is excellent, but this is still a newer budget foam build, so we would not oversell long-term grit retention yet.

Who It's For

Best for doubles players, counter-punchers, and anyone who wants MPP pop without elongated sluggishness. Skip if you need max reach, a long handle, or the denser/less hollow DUO feel.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Best forgiveness in the MPP Turbo line
  • Very fast hand speed for a foam power paddle
  • Keeps strong MPP pop and spin
  • Wide 8-inch face is confidence-building on blocks
  • Excellent value at $99.99 with PRH

Cons

  • Short 5.3-inch handle is tight for two-handers
  • Less reach and leverage than elongated
  • Hollow MPP sound still polarizing
  • Not as dense/connected as DUO
  • Standard raw carbon grit wears normally

Bottom Line

The easiest MPP shape to recommend for doubles because it keeps the pop and adds real forgiveness.

If you are buying one MPP Turbo for doubles, this is the one we would start with.
