M105 is the especially compelling choice if you want Honolulu reach, Blue Grit and softer low-speed MPP contact at the lower price. Jade is the alternative to consider if its SICmatrix face and USAP registration are central to your decision. We would choose the approval route and handling fit before paying more for a different surface name.
What changes behind the face?
M105 uses multi-density MPP with Core Reactor, Dynamic PowerFlex and Control Joint. Jade uses a floating MPP core surrounded by EVA. Each combines foam with a distinct face and structure, so the material label alone cannot predict identical rebound.
M105 is designed around softer bottom-end feel with more top-end power potential. Jade is positioned around power, spin and a predictable response. We do not turn those design goals into a measured winner in power, pop or spin.
Handle and handling: compare the dimensions
M105 measures 16.48 × 7.52 inches with a 6-inch grip, including the tapered area above the wrap. Jade measures 16.5 × 7.5 inches with a 5.5-inch grip. If you use two hands, compare usable wrapped space as well as the stated length.
