Which face do you want?
This is the real decision. The Q2 uses a standard carbon face: strong bite when new, and it smooths with play like carbon faces do. The Jade's SICmatrix silicon-carbide face is designed to hold its texture longer. If you play three or more times a week, the $17 difference buys a face that should keep its spin longer. If you play once or twice a week, the Q2 is the better paddle for less.
Is there a Jade hybrid?
No. The Jade comes in widebody and elongated, each in 14mm and 16mm. If you want RPM in a hybrid shape, that is the Q2: the Q2 Hybrid Flat Top (112 swing weight, 9.05 overall) or the Q2 Hybrid Rounded-Top. The Q2 has no 14mm version.
