Our recommendation for attacking players
The M105 earns a place on the shortlist through its combination of MPP touch, elongated reach and durable Blue Grit. Loco 2 is a strong alternative if you want the Loco foam platform with Space Dust and dual certification. These are two distinct approaches to a power paddle, with a $22.50 coded-price difference.
MPP versus EPP/EVA
M105 uses 16mm multi-density MPP with its Core Reactor, Dynamic PowerFlex and Control Joint system. Loco 2 uses 16mm dual-density EPP and EVA with carbon, fiberglass and a durable surface. Loco 2 is not an MPP paddle.
The M105 design emphasizes a softer bottom-end sensation and more potential top-end power. Our Loco 2 review favors the elongated for serves, drives and reach. Soft contact, full-swing power and short-stroke pop remain separate things to evaluate.
Reach and handle fit
M105 is 16.48 × 7.52 inches. Loco 2 Elongated is 16.5 × 7.375 inches. The similar lengths give both an elongated reach proposition; M105 has the wider listed face.
M105’s 6-inch grip measurement includes the taper. Loco 2 lists a 5.5-inch handle and 4.25-inch circumference, versus M105’s 4.125-inch circumference. Players using two hands should consider wrap coverage and grip size, not just the nominal handle length.
Blue Grit versus Space Dust
Crystal Blue and Space Dust both address durable texture. That makes this a useful comparison for buyers looking beyond fresh-out-of-the-box spin. Neither surface name alone establishes how much spin your strokes will generate.
M105’s published handling ranges are specifications. The Loco 2 review’s handling observations and measurements describe that reviewed sample; they should not be mixed into a supposed manufacturer-to-manufacturer or head-to-head test.
Buy with PRH
Both brands list a 10% PRH offer. M105 drops from $195 to $175.50; Loco 2 Elongated drops from $220 to $198. The M105 includes a waterproof cover with hanging clip, and Loco 2 also includes a cover.
M105 is UPA-A approved; Loco 2 lists USAP and UPA approval. Choose the exact model appropriate to your event, then use the shop button and confirm PRH in checkout.
