What this page is
MARK built this one for reach without the heavy swing of a typical elongated. A swing weight of 112 to 115 is quick for a 16.5 inch paddle, and the deep bottom contour of the face is there to make room for two-handed backhands.
The VelosiCore uses an EVA foam perimeter around a floating EPP center, which MARK says is for fast energy return on drives and put-aways. Twist weight of 6.0 to 6.4 is typical for an elongated, so center contact still matters. We will add on-court notes when our paddles arrive.
Approval and warranty
USA Pickleball approved, PBCoR .43. MARK says VelosiGrit is a more durable version of its grit, made to hold traction under heavy spin. It has no independent lab spin result yet.
Who should order it
Order it if you want an elongated that swings close to a hybrid and you hit two-handed backhands. The 5.75 inch handle helps there.
It is a pre-order. Check the ship date on MARK's page before you pay.
