What this page is
We have not played the Flash FT yet, so there is no feel to report. What the photo shows: the same hybrid outline idea as the Tour Flash, but the top edge runs flat and the corners are tighter, where the Flash curves across the top. The edge guard is orange on the FT and black on the Flash.
On the two flat-top and rounded-top pairs we have measured, the flat-top version swings heavier: RPM Q2 Hybrid Flat Top 112 against 108 for the Rounded-Top, and 11SIX24 Ultre Power 2 115.15 against 111 for the curved-top Vapor Power 2. Vatic has not published a swing weight for the FT, so treat that as the pattern, not a number for this paddle.
Approval and warranty
Evergrit is the V-Sol Tour face, sold as grit that lasts. USA Pickleball approved. The V-Sol Tour line carries a 1-year warranty; confirm the FT terms when Vatic lists it.
Who should order it
Watch for it if you like the Tour Flash hybrid and want a little more face up top, or you want a flat-top hybrid from the V-Sol Tour line. The other Tour shapes sells at $109.99, or $99.99 with PRH, but Vatic has not priced the FT yet.
If you want a Vatic you can order today, the Tour Flash is the hybrid, the Tour Bloom is the widebody and the Tour Elongated is the reach and power shape.
