Soft short game or Loco pace
The Loco 2 Elongated is the Loco built for pace: head-light at about 7.8 oz, a swing weight of 116 and a stiff face that sends drives and serves off fast. The catch is the 5.8 twist weight. Miss the middle and the ball dies, and the soft game takes cleaner hands.
The J6M+ goes the other way. Honolulu built it around a fully floated MPP core with an EVA ring for more dwell and pocketing on dinks, drops and resets, with a lively rebound when you attack. Its published twist weight of 6.2 to 6.7 is higher than the Loco 2 Elongated's 5.8, which on paper means off-center blocks hold up better.
Handle and price
The J6M+ has a 6" handle (Honolulu measures it including the taper above the grip wrap), so it fits a two-handed backhand. The Loco 2 Elongated is 5.5".
The J6M+ is $128.70 with code PRH. The Loco 2 Elongated is $198 with code PRH. That is $69.30 back with the J6M+.
Grit: Crystal Blue vs Space Dust
Space Dust on the Loco 2 Elongated is spin durability Tier 1 in independent lab testing. The J6M+ shares the Crystal Blue Endurance Surface family with the J2CR, J3CR and J6CR Crystal Blue, which are each Tier 1, but the J6M+ itself has not been tested, so it has no tier yet.
Which to buy
